Instructor Agreement

Terms for instructors, reviewers and subject-matter experts who teach at the academy.

Last updated 11 August 2026

Engagement

Instructors are engaged as independent contractors under a statement of work that defines the courses, deliverables, review responsibilities and fees. Nothing in this agreement creates employment, partnership or agency.

Academic responsibilities

  • Teach to the published Curriculum Standards and the stated learning outcomes.
  • Never issue trade signals, price predictions or personalised financial advice in any academy surface.
  • Complete the six-stage review pipeline before any lesson is published.
  • Disclose any commercial relationship with a broker, prop firm, tool vendor or fund.
  • Hold office hours and respond to student questions within agreed service levels.

Intellectual property

  • Material created for the academy under a statement of work is a work made for hire owned by The360Trader.
  • Pre-existing instructor material is licensed to the academy, worldwide and royalty-free, for the term plus three years of archival access for enrolled students.
  • Instructors retain the right to be credited as author on their lessons and certificates of authorship.
  • You warrant that all material you supply is original or properly licensed, including charts, images and data.

Fees and payment

  • Production fees are milestone-based: outline accepted, script approved, recording delivered, published.
  • Ongoing teaching fees are paid monthly in arrears within 15 days of invoice.
  • Revenue-share arrangements, where used, are stated in the statement of work and reported quarterly.

Confidentiality, conduct and termination

  • Student data seen while teaching is confidential and may only be used to support that student.
  • The Code of Conduct applies to instructors with a higher standard of care than students.
  • Either party may terminate with 30 days' notice; the academy may terminate immediately for integrity, safety or compliance breaches.
  • Published material remains available to enrolled students after termination.
